New improvements at your home in Velas Vallarta

Mexican hospitality is considered one of the warmest in the world, but connoisseurs know that people in Puerto Vallarta are by far, the most welcoming hosts in Mexico.

And all modesty aside, Velas Vallarta surpasses any expectation when it comes to making our Members and guests “feel at home away from home”. —Please raise your hand if you agree!

For this summer, we have some improvements and refurbishing going on to welcome you refreshed and feeling brand new! We leave you with a cheerful message from our Director, Luis Angarita, and Juan Carlos López Ruiz, General Manager:

What will you find during this summer vacation in Velas Vallarta?

Genuinely attentive staff

Being recognized as the best resorts collection in Mexico has been possible tanks to the dedication of every member of our staff, who go one step beyond to fulfill your every whim. Continuous training in the highest standards of quality in service and one of the lowest percentages of workforce rotation in Banderas Bay, has allowed us to learn from our members and guests’s taste and deliver ultra personalized service every time you visit us.

New gym facilities

Many of our Members and guests enjoy keeping up with their exercise routine even on vacation, and therefore are relocating and refurbishing our gym facilities in order to provide new equipment, and larger spaces to train and follow your exercise program during summer.

Vallarteando event every month

This portion of land has a wide legacy present everywhere, from the culinary arts to distilled traditions and a cultural scene happening in the destination, that now you can enjoy without leaving your home away in Velas Vallarta.

The Vallarteando event held the last Sunday of every month, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that brings typical local street food, such as the Zarandeado fish, Camarones Embarazados shrimp skewers that are cooked over open coals, or tacos made with Birria, a Mexican stew made from a combination of chili pepper-based goat meat, adobo, garlic, cumin, bay leaves, and thyme, and cooked at a low heat.

You will also enjoy cocktails made with Tequila, Raicilla, and Mezcal and non-alcoholic options like Mexican Hot Chocolate and aguas frescas and creative workshops led by the resort’s artisans to paint ancestral calaveras or skulls in Spanish which have become one of the most recognizable cultural and artistic elements of the Day of the Dead.

And all of this, while Mariachi music, born in Jalisco, takes to the stage.

Are you visiting us soon?
We’d love to see you this summer!
